Guys, Thanks for the feedback.
I'll be uploading a new 'cleaner' glass to the website a little later on..

I prefer the dirty look, but then I always have..lol.
It's a simple thing, just run the installer and you have new glass..
DB.

Thanks David. It least no one can accuse you of not responding to feedback

I'm just glad it's been as well received as it has been... after 12 months of work, all you see is bugs..lol. You loose that 'wow' factor from a first look. So it's very refreshing to see feedback as we have done..

David..
Ignore me.. I seem to be in a majority of none

The dirty edges of the glass DOES look great. It's just that I find it impractical to see through. While I'll admit not all aircraft glass is crystal clear, I prefer the 'clear'.. zero dirt look of a 2D panel ;-)
Paul..
No.. I don't have TrackIR4.. anymore.. I gave mine to Rick Piper. This should give you an indication of how much I don't like VC's.. even good ones ;-) Don't get me wrong.. there is a place for VC's and as such, a place for TrackIR. You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time e t c

Dave, I fully understand... one thing I found out as a developer is you have to find that ever elusive sweet spot of realism, artistic licence, playability and practicality.... That, and you can never please everyone...once you figure that one out, life becomes a lot less stressful..
Anyway, the link to download the glass texture installer is...
http://www.irissimulations.com/download ... _glass.exe
Hope that puts some minds at rest..

David, thanks very much...it has indeed. I think your site might have been a bit overloaded yesterday ( unsurprisingly )as I couldn't create an account, but hopefully later on today or tomorrow. Its going to be a pleasure just sitting in it, reading the manual ( which is rather nice too by the way ) and clicking the buttons.
DaveB, I understand the VC thing. One thing I do find is that in something twitchy with a relatively high approach speed, I have to disable Track IR in order to keep the runway lined up with a reference point on the panel. However I suppose if you don't like VCs at any time then Track IR is pointless.
