The doors on the Sioux could be removed, if required. As far as being a full bona-fide CBFS project, I think it can be said that the gurus here would probably prefer to start from scratch and a converted Agusta Bell 47 would not top their list.....a Westland Westminster though, now we are talking serious helicopters!!!

Ok, consider this cancelled. Gives me more time for the UKFS revamp...............

I'll keep the files incase this resurfaces at a later date.

Ah well, at least I know what a Sioux is now

Shame but I think there would be quite a bit of work in it.

I've always thought the Whirlwind is very overlooked (not just in FS!). Obviously it started as an american design but by the end was a very different aircraft to the S-55, and saw a lot of active service too.

I agree about the Whilwind, that French guy did an HAR10 for FS2002, but it would be nice to have one with a VC, and a Belvedere...oh no! I could go on for ever.
Perhaps the Gaffer at UKMil will still want to look at this, just changing the pilot would help!

Tbh,if DC is still up to it as a joint project, I'll most likely un-cancel it as I did start making mods to the Bell 47 (adding aerials and other bits to the outside and interier). I think what I've done, adding duel controls to it and a changing the pilot to a militery one (which i believe DC has from the Skeeter he did..................) would cover it. And changing some of the piping on that engine obivously.

As far as I'm now concered, this is uncancelled. Mainly cause I got bored and have just spent 3 hours on the engine, cockpit and trying to create cruved piping.

Doesn't look like much but a fair bit was spent studing photographs and experimenting with what gmax can do.



Note, now duel controlled as per the real sioux and the start of the new piping for it.

Nope but some would be good. Going to do some more work on the piping today if I can work out how to do it

No luck yet with a good 3D, but this NZ has some nice detail shots......but I think it might differ from a UK variant!!
