Aaaaaawwww.... All this badmouthing of perfectly good food! Black pud, haggis, sausages, they're all wonderful in moderation! I wouldn't do without them myself. And as a load of you are refusing to eat them, then that leaves all the more for us who like 'em. Yum yum!

It is a bit of an acquired taste I admit. If you find someone selling a good haggis neeps and tatties in a pub they can be very tempting with a good whisky or decient pint of real ale in the winter months.
For those into Black pudding, there's a very famous episode of Taggart (Well known "Strathclyde Polis'" Murder Squad TV show for those who've not heard of it) where the bad guy minced up his victims in a black pudding mincer at a butchers and sold it on.
Sales of Black puddings and haggis actuall crashed for weeks up here in ship shops etc after it was first broadcast.
