Classic British Flight Sim

There'll always be arseholes around, and airshows and other events (seeing as I guess this isn't really an airshow) seem to be the best at coaxing them out of the woodwork. Plenty of people there without a care in the world, so long as they get their photos and/or numbers.

I had a experience somewhat like that at the Ft Lauderdale Airshow years back
but it was a woman and her daughter - 18 and sweet as ever.... my girl friend and me were sitting there for most of the show
, they - I guess were being fashionably late....just walked right up infront of me in my girlfriend ,
just . stood there so their asses were right in front of me

the next thing I'm getting a shot to my ribs from my girl.....

"What!? it's right in my face!!!", I said.and the truth is I accually wasn't trying to look because the mothers was absoluty huge
I was simple looking around the narrowest obstruction..
anyways thats how iI explained it to whats her name , when she started her huffing and puffing on the way home

on second thought It not anything like what happened in Bruntingthorpe ....

What is great about Brunters is how relaxed it all is. When the Comet/Victor were taxiing in, you could stand right beside them - no barriers or officials moving you on (apart from a point just to the left of where the main crowd were gathered) which is somewhat suprising in terms of H & S! And, oh yes, when we were asked to move from a grass area beside the taxi way because it was about to become a runway for GA traffic!

But even then, Mr Walton (the boss) kindly suggested we just walk into the crop...(yes, a portion of crop growing in the middle of an Airfield!!) and view from the tractor tramline! That shows just how caring and enthusiastic the Brunters team are, so thanks very much Mr Walton!

It's a much better view from there because although it's further back, it's more towards the centre of the runway length so you see the aircraft coming towards you.

£15 is a bit steep perhaps for what you get, but it all goes to help run these fine machines.

I took some a shots of XR807 which I'll post at some point.

And no...she didn't get air under her wheels this time, much more sedate run!! Looks a tad too brown now, to me though.
