Thanks Colin. You get the picture now, that's good. That is exactly what I DON'T see. I have told Dave that I see NO instruments, but so far he (or anyone else) has shown any willingness to help me. Just ridicule my stopgap measure to at least have instruments that work.
No one is or has been trying to ridicule your stopgap measure to have instruments that work Al. We were all under the impression that you were trying to use a 2D panel when one doesn't exist. Say what you mean before 'having a go'. 8)

Your panel folder should only have the cfg and cab file so as Colin suggested, your download must have been corrupt in some way. I take it you are seeing a panel but no instruments?

Hi Al

No one is reluctant to help you

You said you didn't have a panel.....that would mean 2D but it seems you don't see instruments in the VC which is something else.

Al,

Please download http://www.cbfsim.org/cbfsim/cbfs_lib/a ... au_FSX.zip

I don't care if you've done it already, just humour a grumpy, tired, old Jock Ok?

Install and report what you see. If I don't reply in the next 30 mins it's because your red wine export got me...but I will be back tomorrow ( later today for you) :guinn:

Hi Al,

If you delete your existing instal of the Beau and re download as Colin suggests, it should be fine. I've just tried and it worked as expected. Let us know how you get on.

Another thought... when you start FSX what is your default aircraft set to? i.e. the one that comes up before you select anything else?

I didn't download that one Colin.

If this one works, then maybe the one I did download, should be removed.

Yep, it should be removed (Dave, Garry, anyone), the textures are a little different in the VC as well. Note that it's .net and not .org.
Google originally found it for me on .net when I searched for "FSX Bristol Beaufighter Mk VI".

Thanks Colin,

Al
