I think one of the things that has changed since you left is we don't have much of a navy now. Thatchers and Camerons cuts. Sorry I am getting political, but I worry about the defence of the realm!

Understood John. For balance reasons alone.. it is good to get rid of all unnecessary weight that high above the waterline. My comments were of a pure aesthetic nature. While the foremast didn't look too bad stripped of it's aerials.. the main mast looked decidedly out of place
