I had a popup when I clicked on the video link at AOPA saying I needed to install "the Hook Player" to watch the video. Well I'm not gonna.

I'll have to watch the video from my l aptop.

You were certainly right to be cautious. Many of those popups for video players, drivers, etc are spyware at best, or malware. Avoid them like the plague!

Indeed Nigel.

A restaurant chain offered free coffee today in recognition of National Coffee Day.

Turns out you are required to install their free app in exchange for the free coffee.

needless to say, I didn't get free coffee. But then, they didn't get my data or my money .

I went elsewhere. :lol:
