I'm not sure about this one. Its a fictional repaint, allowing a lot of artistic license. So I wonder why Jankees placed the RAAF roundel in the joint between the upper and lower fuselages, resulting in a fold, so to speak. Wouldn't it be better further up as with the USAF insignia on the Illinois ANG one above ?

Jankees never does fictional repaints. I believe he said that RAAF did operate one KC-97.

Never ? This is what he says on the download page at OzX:

This folder contains a repaint for The Boeing KC-97 by Manfred Jahn and team. It shows A97-1 of 33 Sqn of the Royal Australian Air Force, as she might have looked if the RAAF would have obtained a KC-97...but they didn't. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-97, based on the paintkit by Manfred and team.

According to all the sources I can find, only the USAF, IDF and Spanish Air Force operated the KC-97. I'd be interested if you know otherwise. :)
