Hi Lewis, I bought Cots last night before the sale ended. Pity I didn't consider this a few hours before when I bought the model but there you go. In for a penny, in for a pound:-)

Have fun with Heidi ;)

Bagged myself the PA28 Cherokee 180 to go with my Spitfire and Piper Cub in my A2A hangar :)

Dave B - glad you got CotS just in time. :)

Okay gents, what do our A2A collections look like, now ? Here's mine, all with their respective Accusim modules:

Cessna 172
Piper Cherokee
Piper Cub
Civilian P-51 Mustang
B-17
B377 Stratocruiser
Spitfire

Plus the Aircraft Factory Heinkel 219 Uhu.

Mixed success with my first Accusim run. All 4 engines on fire and the FE stuck in the karzy 8)

I only bought the Strat and Cots this time (only.. it was still expensive with Cots added)
WWII Fighters (Spit, P51, P40, ME109 and Zero)
WOP2 B17
WOP3 P47
Uhu
Anson
Corsair
Avro 504
Albatros
and if I dig really deep.. I found an old pack of WWII bombers on an old drive the other day. As good as the GA's obviously are.. they're not for me. If they ever consider doing something military again.. I'll be interested ;)

Too much prime and boost Dave?

Brings back memories of FAA Convair 440's N93,N94,N95 if I remember correctly...they were always catching fire on start up.

I had the CC out last night and almost pulled the trigger on the strat.. but as you say it's expensive to buy the bundle even with 25% off!.

Hiya Robbie :hello:

Well.. no. First time I opened it after installing Accusim/Cots.. it started with everything running. I probably stayed on the ground too long with the engines running and the cowl flaps closed but I'd handed over to the 'Live FE'.. or so I thought *-) I got a warning the engines were starting to run hot so thought sod it.. I'll take off. Next thing I know, all 4 are on fire  Shut down the sim.. restarted and selected the Strat. I never got as far as the engines catching fire this time. They wouldn't fire at all :dunno: Shutdown the sim again.. opened it up.. selected the Strat and de-selected 'DAMAGE/Accusim'. The engines remained on and running and off I went on a quick-ish (not!) hop from Culdrose to Prestwick. Handed over the FE while on the ground and this time.. he didn't wander off

The Strat was $27.74 in the sale (£18.53) and Cots was $22.49/£15.02 so £33.55 all-in. Had I got Cots WITH the Strat.. it would have been $7 cheaper but there you go. It wasn't a cheap day however you say it 8) Still.. I've wanted it for ages and now I have it.. AND Accusim for it which I didn't want but ended up getting

Pity it's the single paint I'm ever likely to use :(
