Peter has taken up the challenge but it may have been before he saw what he was up against!! I used to think Nemeth pk's were a pain but years down the line, they're actually darned good.

EDIT: Just tried to open the PSD's using Elements and they won't open without errors. I know they'll open using CS2 as I've already looked but I like using CS2 like I enjoy hearing from HMRC. Another nail in the repaint coffin for me I'm afraid :wall:

I have no idea what that means but it must have taken some spelling :shhh: Nice pic too.

The 'cut'n'shut' was just that. The original RN paint depicts a Fishery Protection Devon so rather than reinvent the wheel.. I used that paint.. removed the Fishery Protection flag and number from the fin.. changed the registration.. changed the props from red/white to black/white.. changed the spinners from red to black.. painted out the light panel you see on the nose and added a first aid logo to the door and CU19 to the rudder top :)
Overall.. RN Devons were all painted the same.. white top, grey underside with blue cheatline. Seemed pointless starting a new paint from scratch so I used an existing one for XK895/CU19 ;)

I can't tell you how much fun this ISN'T to paint. I've spent all day on this and the little bit I've done has impressed me SO much.. I'm never going to paint again!!

The more pictures I see, the more tempted I am to get the Dove. I hope they get the trim issue corrected.

Well, I'm currently having a ball with this one:

Blue spinners added:

Same goes for the upper wing rego:

Seems like AMYO never wore the small "MORTON" lettering just above the pax exit - so I'll have to remove it.
Can anyone confirm this?

Cheers,
Markus.

The titles above the cabin door were certainly there on ANVC and checking the Herons, it was there on them too. I can't find a good shot of AMYO which shows that side :wall: Unless you can find definite evidence to show it wasn't there on YO.. I'd leave it there ;)

I know this probably wont be a shock, but my first paint is of a CAFU aircraft! Couldn't resist using the G-ANUT example! Uploaded to BritSim(available now) and Flightsim.com(probably available tomorrow).
