Would P3Dv3's HDR settings cause the effect :dunno:

Just a thought.

Unfortunately I have no idea at all as do not have P3D & do not know what 'HDR' means. :$
Normally if producing for FSX the textures are supposed to be converted to .dds format, whereas the textures with this model are extended.bmp in 888 format. Could that be a clue?

Hi Keith,
'Scuse me hopping in, but again, you've made me curious.
I looked it up and found:
https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct= ... jJP-iIUrvg

I'm no wiser as to how P3D uses it, as I don't have it either.

Mike, Thank you, from that then I understand that if HDR settings in P3D are used then it can give a washed out render. Will have to wait & see if Kevin sorts it out, or if other P3D users have the same problem.

Of course the burning question is why don't you have P3D, you can get a developers license for 10$US a month and cancel any time you want.
Its what I have.

I'm still plucking up courage to attempt to learn how to make a FSX native model, let alone move up to P3D & all its subsequent paid for updates......my brain ain't what it used to be, & it wasn't that good then!
