Hi Graham,
I spoke with a friend of mine who lives in Melbourne this evening. He said the storm stayed off the coast and that spared the area of severe damage. He didn't lose power or even cable tv service..
In comparison.. Hurricane Frances knocked the power out for ten days.
Hope your son is safe and well.

Short update.
Had a dressing change yesterday morning, nurse said wound cleand and dry. Looking good.
