I had my first flight at Fairoaks in G-ARFC - probably 1964.

And Dick Emery seemed to fly out of there - I think I saw him at Fairoaks a few times.

Is Peter Kay a comedian?

I've been trying to work him out.

Have you seen his material? I must admit I have'nt laughed so much since Eddie Izzard, who is completely barmy, like myself, so I can relate to his outlook on life.

Peter Kay is IMHO one of the finest comedians to come from the North of England. Co-incidentally he was stood behind me the other day in Subway in Manchester! He's smaller than I imagined.

Join the club! I think you have to be born Northern to get him, Ive been up here a while and I still dont get why he's funny

Now, Dylan Moran, on the other hand...he is a very funny guy!

Funny thing Eddie he just doesn't twig with me or Eddie Izzard.

I know people who don't find Rowan Atkinson or David Jason funny and yet I am crying at their stuff

Mind you my sense of huour is very sarcastic so Fawlty Towers and all that it well in.

I think a lot of it is what's arround when you get to "That age" a bit like music.
