What sign is that? The one I see is "Escorts and Stewards" which is for everything non-Classic British that might go on here.

The thread up to this point fits within the rules.
My opinion about the white line thing is that they ran out of paint at the very spot the aircraft stopped or they were painting the line and saw this shower of sparks coming towards them and legged it.
