I'll be there on the Saturday 2nd Dec. Have bought a cheap day return from Euston to Brum Intl. since reckon cheapest option, view present price of petrol plus parking cost, as well as motorways around NEC always jammed up!
Last but not least, might be sitting next to a nice bird to chat up on the train...

cracking idea, tell her you like computer planes and your off to see a lot of them... Then count to ten, bet she gets the emergency stop button before you reach 3, or if she is the nervous type 1.5

I'm having problems with the concept of "Brum" and "nice bird" being in the same post!

You 'mucky-minded' people you!!! Well, I thought the line that - 'I was part-time pilot of a 1-11 and sometimes a Trident 2/3 even occasionally a VC10...' may have impressed her!
Seriously though, are many of you fellow forum-mers planning to go to this show?
I primarily want to look at FSX in the flesh plus, speak to Flight 1 about their Concorde update for the Altitude/Koch version. Also, to see the VATSIM boys. Then, last not least, just take in the atmosphere...

Jim Cooper and I from Simshed will be there on Sunday, not on any stand just visiting. I too want to see FSX in the hands of MS

The cheapest parking is in the station carpark, from which you can walk via a covered walkway straight to the exhibition halls

Looks like I'm going now, too! I found a great deal on airfare from Denver.

Would that be via Newark into BHX?

Actually I'm going to fly into LHR, spend 2 days in London, then catch a train up to BHX. The outgoing trip is DEN-ORD-LHR on United, and the return is BHX-FRA-DEN on Lufthansa. Only $497!

I guess you'll be going to the one in Denver in July 07 too??. I'm planning on that one as well. I'll look out for you on Sun 4 Dec!
Did anything become of that idea of having some sort of CBFS polo-shirt so we can recognise each other??
Or should we all just wear our straight-jackets??
Regards
