Hi Phil and welcome aboard
I know exactly how you feel mate and resisted it for more years than I can remember. Having VATSIM tickets and the like always put me off but with the advent of FlyNET and now FSA.. all this has changed. You can still use VATSIM if you so desire but it's your choice to do so, not a prerequisite. Some here do.. many don't (me included) ;-)
Our published instructions are slightly out of date since FSA was released a few weeks ago but the basics remain the same. Any questions at all, don't be afraid to ask down in the 'Crew Room'. One of the other pilots will be with you in short order ;-)
I hope you have a long and enjoyable stay with us

Thanks Dave, I'll go and have a browse in the crew room. Still working out how to use FSA at the moment, hoping to get a flight tomorrow. :flying:

Hi Adrian and welcome to CBFSVA ;-)
As per.. any questions, fire them off in the Crew Room and one of the pilots will get back to you soon I see that John has already given you Pilot U/T status Any TR requests should be posted at FSA but if you don't receive a reply.. PM either me, John (or both) here and we'll get you sorted ;-)

OK mate..
Are you still au fait with the way things work?? Not a great deal has changed with the changeover from FlyNET to FSA and the whole new system is pretty intuitive. I can give you a TR (8 block) on one of the aircraft you used to fly if you want.. this'll give you an opportunity to fly before going live??
