I noticed on Ian's website a link to "The Pen Man" . A fellow named Andy makes the wood pens. I'm guessing this is Ian's friend then? ... anyway I was thinking a pen made by the hands that shook the hand of Ian would make a nice memento. A finely crafted writing instrument too.

Although expected, very, very sad to read of Ians' passing, my condolences to his family.
It does not seem that long ago he told me of his lung problems (in a PM) before announcing here that it was cancer. Just makes you realise on how fragile and short life can be for all of us.
He may be gone but will never be forgotten, God Bless you Ian.

Rest in peace, Ian. Deepest sympathies to Ian's family and friends...and also to everyone here at CBFS. We lost a very good man and friend. Oh, and thanks very much Ben for your thoughtful gesture.
