The first image is really throwing me. It should make it easier, but I just can't think.

All is now revealed.
I was very happy with the enthusiastic response to this one!
Rightest of the right was Joe (Blanston12) with his Viscount 812 Series. Joe, you get a diamond badge with "Clapping Bar" for being tops on accuracy.
Next in line, with diamond awards, Eric (Tomliner), PeteP, Brian Franklin, Kevin Farnell, and Den (511Flyer), all going for Viscount 800 Series, which was so like the 810 in appearance, they get to join the winners circle.
Gold winner, Simondix suggested Viscount.

I feel honoured to get top marks, and it was probably luck. I was thinking Viscount or Vanguard, not a Vanguard because of the shape of the wing roots, not a Viscount 700 because of the shape of the door, landed on 812 because I found a cut away image of one online of a 812, although not the exact image in the challenge.

Only one image to go on today. Looks familiar I suppose.

Time to call halt on this one.
We have two precise correct responses.
There were numerous very close suggestions, most noting that it was a De Havilland turboprop conversion.
Sadly for some it was a DH114 Heron that was revved up, not a Dove.
There were suggestions of the (Dove) Carstedt Jet Liner, but they had flat tail planes, whereas the subject had quite a marked dihedral as per the original Heron. Saunders squared off the fin, whereas Carstedt kept the original shape.

Actually a Heron... with 2 engines removed, and a longer fuselage

Glad I got it again, I had though dove at first also, but too many windows.

The photos that I've seen of the Riley Dove show that they retained the domed cockpit roof, unlike the Heron.
Some kept the DH fin, others squared it. All had flat tailplanes, unlike the Heron.
Now, an addition to the winners.
At about the time I was posting the answer, Brian Franklin responded to my PM, saying if it's not that, then it's a Saunders S-27.
