Hello Mate :hello:

Well.. that's a good saying but you have to ask 'why did they change construction to Z-Foam'? As it happens, I checked the price it had gone to yesterday and it was at £71. Not a bad price for an RTF but more than I was prepared to pay. You can get a brand new PNP Mk IX Spit for just a few quid more (PNP = complete model with servo's but no rx or battery/charger) and the BNF (BNF = complete model with servo's, battery/charger and receiver) for just a few quid more than that. BNF is no use to me at the mo as I don't have a txer but I could whip the rx out of the Cat/Cub and use the txer for those.
Nah.. much as I'd like it, I want something a bit slower for the moment.. too many recent mishaps with the fast stuff :( I have perfect conditions to fly now and I can't bring myself to take the Mustang out :worried: I have to overcome it or I won't fly again :(

EDIT: Don't look now but enquiries made re Radian Pro PNP :worried: Found a Radian PNP in stock but it's only £5 less than the Pro!

Please, don't confuse me with the facts Dave.
;)

All the best finding what you need.

Sri Joe  I thought an explanation of PNP and BNF would make what I was trying to say easier to swallow. As luck would have it.. just about everywhere in the galaxy is waiting for/sold out of the PNP version so for that.. I break wind in their general direction  Hope you're not downwind ;)

You can't always get wut you want Dave but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get wut you need.

Hi Joe..

No, I can't always get what I want.. that rarely happens. My pursuit of a Parkzone Radian Pro PNP seems to have coincided with a world shortage in 'said' item. Few have it and those that do are charging top dollar. Bottom end of the scale.. £104.. sold out. The cheapest 'in stock' is around £150.. some are significantly higher. :( This equates to the same price some vendors sell the BNF version for (everything in the box except the txer) 8) B'stards

Anyways.. on a slightly different note.. Gunfighter lives! I finally managed to prize the yellow streak off my back this morning and lobbed the old girl into calm winds and clear blue skies :welldone: Absolutely no difference in flight characteristics and she flies straight and true ;) Made a very perty picture indeed B-)

The rear float mount has been fitted to the SCub but no immediate plans to test the floats. I wonder if the local authority could widen the canal by say.. double??

Great news Dave. :agree:

Glad she flew again without incident. :welldone:

I also got up today. A nice hour or so with the Mustang

Five lipos drained!!

Great times. :tunes:

I'm sniffing around a Multiplex FunJet at the minute.

I think I'm snookered though.

The wife has been sharpening the kitchen knives. :S
