Thank you, Sir Maltby.

This will keep me quiet for a while so Mrs B has ordered that I send a handful of groats to reward you for keeping me from under her feet!

I just finished blogging about this beauty... http://iblueyonder.wordpress.com/2007/0 ... e-a-comet/

Many, many thanks, David! She's a right knockout, this one. As soon as I can fire up the old flying computer for an extended flight, I'm going to enjoy putting her through her paces.

Thanks chaps. :)
The groats will be going on a new LCD monitor, once I get them changed into pounds sterling.

Paolo, the new download file names all end with '_20070827.zip'
If you are not seeing that on the page, then your browser is not showing you the latest page. Go back to the page, do a refresh a few times & that should hopefully bring it up to date for you.

Cheers

Just one word - Beautiful! Thanks DM. The attention to detail is brilliant - love the SFS which is taking some getting used to, as well as some of the other quirky dials - e.g. the engine synchroniser. Have managed several ILS-linked landings - just keep forgetting to unlock the reversers! Oh - thats what the checklist thingys is for. A contribution is on its way!! Bravo :welldone:

Great job :welldone: . I always know when It takes me 30 minutes to figure out how to cold start an aircraft it is a nice and detailed model.

the only issue I am having is that i am having to cheat and use z to get the autopilot to engage. :$

Thanks very much. :)
z to get the autopilot to engage
I'd have put a stop to that if I'd known about it.
You need the 'Autopilot Master' ON.
Then pull the A/P power switch.
Then you have to wait 45 seconds for it to power up.
After that, the Amber light shows & only then can you press the blue 'Engage' button.

50 years old that computer & it still boots faster than my PC.

The ex-payware ready for pushback is about the best 747-200 if you want a VC, its at Avsim
