It depends if you use the "aircraft"-folder approach or the "SimObject" - folder approach

You have to make entries in the FSX-cfg if you use the "aircraft"-folder otherwise FS will not recognise the new folder, and that includes the shared DMFS folder ...

I've got the antialiasing on, flare on, I switch between windowed and full screen modes. I'll be able to post the cfg when I'm home later.
I like this flight simming, it's fun.....

Can't find an fsx.cfg.

Graphics settings are;

Target frame rate: Unlimited
Full screen res: 1920x1200x32 (native monitor res)
Filtering: Bilinear
Anti-aliasing: On
Global texture res: High
Lens flare: On
Light bloom: Off
Advanced animations: On

Just for the purposes of testing, can you try 1024 x 768 x 32bit and run it windowed. Bare in mind most FS models aren't optomised for resolution the big, and these ones started off life in 03 - 04 and hardware has changed a great deal...

Anyway, would be interesting to see how it looks at that sort of res.

Hi Ant... I'm totally lost with this... and you updated yor drivers didn't you?

If you haven't already got it, could you try downloading the Coment from DM's site.... http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk and then follow these instructions to install it in FSX...

http://www.cbfsim.org/cbfsim/cbfsBB/vie ... =6&t=15847

these are for the BAC 1-11 but apply for all DM's models (obviously the names will be a little different) and if it prompts you to overright anything say yes.
