Not modelled as such (e.g. they don't need to be visible), but they do need attach points which end up being invisible but need the appropriate code for the object concerned. For example, a single wire needs two attach points (e.g. just boxes), one for the "start" and another for the "end" of that wire. Similar logic applies for the cat.DaveB wrote: Do FSX carriers have to have cats/wires modelled.. even with ACCEL??

Hi Andy..
OK.. thanks for that ;-) Is this possible with Hermes Ben??
In the meantime.. here's a shot of Glamorgan waiting to sail. It is still very much WIP hence bits missing but it gives a good flavour of what a County Class DLG looked like. I hope Rick returns to it one day when he's less busy with work

She is landable ;-)

Yes mate..
There's a lot of room to manoeuvre with DLG's. Last time I saw the Ark 'in service'.. Hampshire was her guardship.. around late May, perhaps early June '75. Jane's Fighting Ships 73-74 says 'Exocet being fitted in Devonshire, Hampshire and two others in place of B turret' but I honestly don't think that ever happened (as far as Devonshire and Hampshire are concerned) so a variation on the theme could be Hampshire/Devonshire with A and B turrets and a single 965 instead of the double bedstead. 8 ships in total but still quite an involved project to get em all done (though I don't believe that was ever Rick's intention).
