I remember those crisps with the salt bags. And I'm not that old eh?
Oh... it was about 20 years ago... never mind

I qualified as "You are getting older"

No mark
That was the re introduction of the salt bags in Salt 'n Shake but the ones we mean are before ready salted chrisps and was salt in a mini pouch type bag twisted together at the top with the salt sitting below in a rounded shape, not a sealed flat bag as in the later version
The old ones dissappered in the early-mid sixties.

I'm turning 50 in less than 2 weeks and I got an 11, but I live in Montana and that was nearly a third world country back in the early 60's. We had to get all of our water out of the creek in front of the house and warm it up on the stove for everything, had to chop a hole through the ice in winter, for the first year and a half we lived there. Oh, and one other thing, we got to feed the bears marshmallows in Yellowstone Park on trips down there.

I just browsed through everything, but even I must be getting old because I remember 6 items on this list....
Only problem - several of those 6 occurred as little as 5 years ago and are still possible today.
Specifically -
2) There's no fewer than 4 coffee shops I've been to in the last couple of years around Dallas that have jukeboxes (the old kind), and they're not "retro" shops, we still do that here in Texas. Hell,
Whataburgers still had jukeboxes in them until the last few years.
3) In Colorado, there is the
Royal Crest Dairy in Denver that still delivers milk (in glass bottles if you like) and all the other basic groceries including bread, juice, and eggs twice a week.
8, 9, & 10) Dad's got quite a collection. Before I ever listened to a tape, I listened to them, even though Cassette Tapes were the main means of music production by the time I was listening on my own in the mid-1980's. Still listen to some of them from time to time.
13) Still one of my favorite toys from when I was little. Don't think they went out of style here in Texas until the late 1990s.
I have memories of #7 (Peashooters), but that's because my grandfather still had his from when he was a kid and showed it to me. Usually used a BB Gun or Pellet Gun (had both) when learning how to shoot and how to properly handle a firearm.

Catapults and peashooters have already been mentioned, but who remembers the potato gun?You stuck the slighly extended barrel into a raw spud and then it fired the plug of potato using using compressed air(I think).Basic but very effective when fired at the cissy little girls!Yes we were delightful children!
