If they do make the 26th its the AVRO's and only in FS9 at this stage, 146's and FSX will follow in the coming months ;)

Yikes, that is a bit steep. I'll probably still take the plunge since it looks rather well done. Thanks for the HU.

Do you really think it's steep when you can pay £100+ for a decent detailed large model kit you have to then buy paint for, spend hours making then fight the dust and decay for many years?????..... :dunno:

This comes 'straight out the box' in as many liveries as you want, ready to go all systems blazing for as long as you want and there will be several diferent versions of the model too...and it has sound too.

Good value for half a tank of petrol :)

I think it will work out at about £36 and I'll be happy to pay that. The work that has gone into this is very significant and if its half as good as it appears I'll be a very happy man. :)

True enough. Wasn't a complaint, as I realize the tremendous effort that developers invest in these products...and the minimal return they receive. I suppose my FS mindset is still stuck in 2007 or thereabouts...and still registers any FS plane over $40 USD as "expensive", even though I've purchased several payware addons that've pierced that cost threshold. No doubt the RJ will be well worth the money.

Well, there was a debate over that price on their forum last week.
http://forum.qwsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4260

I will not comment on the price. But I don't quite understand their communication policy. They spread all their news through the forum allowing people to ask and comment. Then, their answers often feel quite harsh and impatient. After all they seem to forget that they're offering payware - and within a forum prospective customers do take their right to comment and/or ask or solicite livery requests or similar...

However the model looks really very nice inside and outside. Anyway I will wait for the updates. If I pay 50 Bucks I want the original 146 and the fully updated VC, no light version ("Virtual Cockpit with parallel functionality as the 2D").

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick,
for your cash you get fs9 and FSX versions of the 146 100/200/300 and the RJ 70/80/100 and as cockpit which seems to be better than the old ML panel which was my favourite and an FMC of some description. The FSX and 146's will come along later though, but are included in the price. :)
