Hi peter

Sorry about the delay...been away from the machine and just seen this

Anyhow

Yes...that's working fine on the net book

Straight away the "loading" now has a red progress bar and despite the low power of the machine it was up and running in about ten seconds. :welldone:

Thanks B)smk

Great!...Thanks Garry, I'm pretty sure that I know what the problem was now and I expect Jimm and Ian will now be able to see that slide show.

Peter that last link finally worked for me. I am using an XP desktop. The other links all worked fine but until that last link, the Trident slides did not work, so whatever you did fixed it for me also.

Yessir! Sorry - late on parade due to being in the pub

It works fine now in Chrome. And as a bonus I can confirm that it also works fine in IE8 and Firefox.

Now it looks as though you've got a few hours work putting all your old picture posts into slideshows.

Ian :)

Ian,

Can I ask if, when you tried that failed link, you were using your browser in a small window as opposed to filling your screen?

1366 x 768. It's a widescreen laptop.

Thank you Ian...For some reason your laptop was refusing the large size images of 884x650 and I presume that it used the medium sized images of 707x520. The reason it failed on the previous links was that I had deleted the medium and small images, leaving only the large images and your machine found nothing to suit. I have now put the medium and small images back and now everybody can view the slideshow. Sadly, that more than doubles the storage needed for my slideshows...I may just try again by just deleting the medium images just leaving the large (884x650) and the small (612x450) images *-)
