Have fun with Heidi ;)

Bagged myself the PA28 Cherokee 180 to go with my Spitfire and Piper Cub in my A2A hangar :)

Helloo Kevin,

Heidi will have to wait until I finish my flight test. ....Themz the rules.

anyway,
Put her in a nice inverted flat spin, ....kinda sorta, *-)
really.. for a spit second. I didn't know which end was up.

The plane, that is.

I was salivating over the 182. But good sense won out. No sense buying something the pc won't run.

I'm perfectly content in the Cub, and the four configuration that came with. ;)

I have the 377 with Accu sim. It's quite stable when operated properly.

:)

Hi Joe

Have you finished your flight tests yet?

If you want some entertainment, select Heidi in her 'nervous' mode and repeat your inverted flat spin.

Have fun.

Kevin

Mike (and Kevin) - good to see some new A2A Cherokee owners. Hope you guys have as much fun with this one as I've had. :) Not sure if you chaps frequent the A2A forums at all, but definitely worth downloading and installing the latest updater. There's also a handy thread here with links to real world avionics manuals and so on, and a nice repaint thread which can be found here. I even tried some of my own Cherokee repaints a few months back and posted a few of the G-reg ones in this thread in your repaint hangar.

Cheers,
Nick

P.S. Mike - I even did a 'semi-authentic' Ozzie rego one. 'Semi' because it's actually based on a 235hp model which is based in Victoria I believe. Sadly we don't get a 6 cylinder Lyco model to play with, but the 180's a rather a nippy little performer in her own right though! ;)

I added the P-47 to my collection this weekend, at full price. Couldn't resist it any longer. :)

She's a BIG girl is the P-47. Nice model though and millions of paints for it. Let me know if you stumble over 'No Guts, No Glory'.

Wouldn't that be for the bubble canopy species of P-47D ? ;) WZ-D 'Snafu', TFC's razorback Thunderbolt, is the one we are a-wanting. :)

I'm much enthused by A2A right now, having also installed their Spitfire, civilian P-51, B-17, Piper Cub, Cessna 172, Piper Cherokee and Stratocruiser into P3Dv2.5 over this weekend, using P3D installers or EMT as appropriate. I'm pleasantly surprised the Stratocruiser works in the latest version of P3D - the complexity of COTS makes it the most likely A2A FSX model to run up against problems, but so far everything works as advertised.

Thanks Nick, that was indeed one of the 3 VH- that I installed. Eye-catching scheme, very happy with it. :welldone:

Took it down the Mornington Peninsula, dropping into a couple of cosy airfields that I have physically visited. :)
