Yes, we always find ways of justifying it.

Flying over the USA in a foreign registered GA!
I hope you have clearance Paul

Just waving the flag, Mike. I might be touring Australia in it next

. On the same topic, you'd be surprised how often you see American N-registrations down at Duxford. I think there was a Cessna 182 there not long ago.

Yes, there's no shortage of N-reg GA aircraft operating in the UK as
this list shows. Apparently it's something do with being able to use the FAA Instrument Rating. More info
here in the unlikely event anyone's sufficiently interested in CAA/FAA regulations and legalese!
Cheers,
Nick

Okay Joe, just as long as we go nowhere near Mike. He's got a virus and if its anything like their snakes and spiders, Aussie viruses ( virii ? ) will be the deadliest on the planet.
Nick, thanks for that link. There's a heck of a lot of them here, isn't there. Never knew there were that many.

"Orbx's Open Landclass EU on top"
ARRRGH! Couldn't help myself, Paul made me do it.
Only gone and bought Landclass EU and dented my already battered credit card.
Thanks a lot Paul, I'm pointing SWMOWQ in your direction............................

Allan, you'll have to explain SWMOWQ - She Who Must (OWQ ? )
Orbx's EU Landclass is very good. I've got all their UK scenery ( apart from Northern Ireland ) but I doubt I'll buy any more European regions because Open LC EU does a more than adequate job.
Away from Europe, I'm really looking forward to Southern California, because I use Edwards AFB to learn new aircraft. I have several flight plans centred on Edwards that I use for different types of aircraft - for example, a small one with three or four radio nav-aids for G.A, something a bit longer for aircraft like the Captain Sim C-130, and then big ones for faster military stuff like the CS B-52, Iris Vulcan or J.F. Canberra. It's going to be nice to look down and see it all in it's Orbx glory.

The words Pot, Kettle and Black spring to mind.
