Paul,

I heard rumors that JustFlight sells other software companies' products under Justflight packaging.

Regards,

Aharon

Mostly correct Aharon. A few are developed in-house ( Canberra, Tornado & Hawk), the rest are by various developers. Not sure who did the 1-11. *-)

I'm pretty certain it's AH Dave. The 1-11 and VC10 are up on their facebook pages me thinks.

Thought it was, but wasn't 100% sure. Say no more. ;)

The prospects of me buying the 1-11 are fading, but that VC-10 is something to look forward to - hopefully.

I hate to be seen to be jumping on the Just Flight bashing band wagon here, but having apent part kids' University fees on buying the One Eleven I feel compelled to comment on the textures. I fly for the visuals, I don't spend hours prepping a cockpit, I just love high quality airports and aircraft paints. PMDG, CaptainSim eat your heart out. How on earth can JF justify shipping out this product with such poor textures? And has anyone seen the paint kits? Who would have thought you could have one basic aircraft type with totally different paint kits...seriously, the texture size is different between the 300/400 and 500. So much for easily painting of both types across a fleet. And besides that the kits are so elementary.

I shall persevere and do my best to produce the Court Line fleet but I really fear for a repeat of this on the VC-10....

Safe flight!

Well I ended up succumbing to temptation in the end and bought it before the introductory offer ended. Like DaveB I'm not normally one to fly airliners, but the BAC 1-11 is different for me because of its use in radar trials and because of ZE432, which I used to see all the time at Boscombe Down (flown VFR with curved approaches and more in the style of a fast jet than an airliner!). I've already formed some opinions, but before I express them I want to a) do some more flying; and b) RTFM! In the meantime some shots of ZE432 on the ground at Boscombe Down:

They're probably the best screens I've seen of it Andy

I contacted JF about my autopilot bugs and they got back to me today that
They are currently working on the AP/FD to do an update. There are definitely some bugs in some simulators
So hopefully, someday, they will get it right.

More shots of more VFR test flights from Boscombe, appropriately enough! Still withholding judgement and still RTFM, but I will say this for now... when properly trimmed she flies well and has a good "feel".

Besides cropping these are raw as-is screenshots from P3D v3.4 with Orbx England, Opus and REX TD. Flickr tends to downsample them in a less than ideal way though, so if anything the originals are superior.
