I'm sniffing around a Multiplex FunJet at the minute.

I think I'm snookered though.

The wife has been sharpening the kitchen knives. :S

After much searching and running out of luck trying to find what I wanted, I tried a different tack and have a Hobby King ASW28 EPO glider on order. Time will tell if I should have waited or not but I flatly refuse to pay over the odd's for stuff. Nearly got an FMS ASW28 but went cheap and got the Hobby King instead :) I've asked them what sort of battery it takes but thus far, no response. Tried the 'instant' online chat but the girl on t'other end didn't know. Pretty pee poor I have to say 8) From what I can tell, the ESC connector is 'deans' but HK are advertising a battery with an XT60 under 'customers who bought this also bought this'. I hope it's deans as this'll match my charger without needing another adaptor :) Still.. I can't order the chuffin battery until I'm certain which connector it is  It takes 1000-1300mAh 2S LiPo's which means buying new but they're cheap as chips at HK so I'll get (can get) 4 for the same price as a single 1300mAh 3S :) Standby for the weather to change

Dale.. your Vampire/Venom still isn't in stock mate :(

This wouldn't have happened if he had been flying a Boeing. :agree: ;)

I think the Scarebus is a bit beyond glue  That 400M is impressive. I've always wondered what each 'pilot' does on a 2 man setup but with something like that.. it's a little more obvious.. I think  There's an impressive Hunter crash on Youtube if you like seeing RC crashes. The poor chap loses one of his control channels with disasterous results. The A330 crash doesn't come close! I'll see if I can find it :)

You really have to be careful with those things :-O

Both the Hunter and A.330 would have done serious damage to anyone they'd hit :worried:

Too right mate. :)

Even the foam models Dave and I fly have the potential to kill or seriously injure.

They travel at speeds in excess of 50mph.

It's certainly going to sting if you copped for one in the swede.

After the crash of my EZ Hawk I got myself insured through the BMFA.

£30 a year and covers up to £10,000,000 liability I think. *-)

It's a must when flying in a public place.
