George, Have you ever used FSET to create the different season tiles other than just the Day / night ones?
I have done only a hard winter texture for EGNT. It is a PITA if you have more than a couple of bmps.

I don't have Photoshop but I believe it has a batch feature which allows one to change the colours of multiple files.

I might have a play. Good thing is if i keep cache safe, i wont have to download them all again. GIMP has a similar tool i think, but I've never used it. I assume there's a naming convention to the tiles so the sim knows which ones to load in each season? (I haven't checked the manual yet) :)

I've just had a look in Bing. For res -1, it will need about 1800 bmps (times 5 for all of the seasons) *-)

There is no naming convention, the filenames are specified in the resample .inf file.

That will be a bit OTT I think, and this is something I'll be dipping in and out of for months (time permitting). I might have a go at a small island somewhere when it comes to trying the seasons. I like flying to Malta and Cyprus, so I'll have a look at those in the future. As it stands at the moment the cache is 15.4GB with 395428 files! :worried:

I've downloaded the Malta and Gozo tiles and I'll use that to try out the different masks etc. One thing I did notice was the remains of another airfield North West of Luga.

Does anyone know what this used to be? I know there was the old RN air station (I believe) a few miles South East of Luga by the coast.

Ben,

I remember from when I was a kid in Malta during the early sixties. There were some other (disused) airfields even then. Hal-far was the FAA field, Safi and Ta'Qali were ex-RAF fields

The problem with Malta is finding a good mesh.

I've been discovering that George. :)

I'm kicking off a download of Cyprus later too.
