Was that the FSX Rapide Dave?
Sadly, yes Dave  Killed the sim stone dead!! Dunno if it was the sparse autogen that did it or having waves but the combination didn't go down well :huf: Can't blame GenX either as I didn't have it activated

I think that in the end mate, I have to admit that my system just isn't up to FSX unless I have all the sliders on 'girlie' and while a few aspects of it.. even on 'girlie' are better than the default FS9, my current FS9 is far superior in every way. For this reason, it seems pointless me wasting any further time on it.

Dan..
From your last comment, I take it that you are only going to run payware models on your payware sim

Peter MacLeland - many thanks for that explanation - seeing the quality you get with your scenery I see no need to change to FSX. Incidentally, did you ever have a Bonanza in the real world?

Well I am d/l the SP1 patch as we speak. However I am still scouring the web for a cheap edition of FS9.

Jeez how I regret selling it!

No Chris,

The only GA aircraft that I was syndicated in was a Chipmunk. I note from my AOPA magazines that the A36 Bonanza is very highly thought of and there was an aerobatic version produced. However, my engine change to a Teldyne Continental TSIO-550-E 350 HP turbo charged engine has not happened in real life...Although the engine mounts are identical
