Hi Mark
When you say that you moved the add-on folder to No 1 priority which one was it?
Once you have installed the Skysim version then go to the Settings page and click on Scenery Library, from the menu on the right click on Add Area then select the Add-on Scenery folder. Once that has opened then select one of the Carrier folders and press OK, it should then appear in Scenery Area. Repeat this procedure for the next three carriers and finally select the OF folder and do the same.
Once they are all in your Scenery Area make sure that the boxes are ticked and press OK. Once out and back to the main menu EXIT from flight simulator then restart otherwise you will not be able to access it.
If you require any more help let us know.
Nigel.

Hi Nigel.
This is what I'm doing and this is what's happening.
1.Run the installer,destination I'm using is C/Programs,program files,microsoft games,Fs9,Add-on scenery.
This put's another Add-on scenery folder(containing the ships,OF files,etc)inside the original Add-on scenery folder.
2.Start Fs,go to Scenery Library,Settings,Add Area,Add-on Scenery folder,select each carrier,etc,etc,you know the routine.
3.Shut down and re-start Fs9.
Go to Create a Flight,Change Location. Now this is where things seem to have gone belly up.
No matter what country I select(UK for example)I get the FULL list of the World's airfields, not just the UK ones, the same with the USA,Austria Switzerland,Japan, you name it and I cannot select that countries airfields(even the "United Kingdon").
I've put "Ark"into the "select airfield by name" box and all I get is airfields that begin with Ark.No mention of any ships whatsoever. :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:
Do I need to change the destination for the Installer?
I am using a lot of add-on scenery, especially the JustFlight stuff for UK.

Yes, the installer is ONLY asking for the location of your FS installation - it will install inside the Add-on scenery automatically... if you actually give the full address of your existing add-on scenery folder instead of the FS location then yes; it will indeed create another folder.

Thanks for helping out there Brian, I've so busy with real life lately.
One thing I might add though, once you have all the Ark's installed make sure the OF files is always at the
top of your addon scenery list, so if you add any other scenery after the Ark make sure you move it
down under OF files.
Your'll crack it then have some fun with her.

Thnaks gents.I'll have a go later with it.
I've got to get the 3-wire too then I'm set to have a bit of a ball hopefully as I've got Alpha's Sea Vixen,Sea Venom,Scimitar, plus three different Seafires,an Attacker,Sea Fury,Kazi Ito's Sea Balliol and Gannets,Dave G's Hunter Ga.11 and Rob Sanderson's Sea Hurri.

Ok.I've got it installed and working(did a full flap taps wide open free take-off and landing with the C172   ),but it's still throwing things a wobbler.
If I try to select a US or UK airfield I still get the entire world list.If I look on "Norway",then the Ark is listed, but all the others
are on "Carrier" and all as "Ocean Flatten(Ark Royal)".
When I've used the installer this time I used the path C/Programmes,Programme Files,Microsoft Games,Fs9. and let it go at that.
Could this be where I'm going wrong?
Do I need to use the path just as the installer default to?
Has any one else found that it cocks up their country selection?
All help is very gratefully recieved as a search through these pages will show that I'm notoriously skilled at making a right balls of getting things to work properly.
Cheers,Mark

What I do to select one of the Ark's is punch in Ark1 into the airfield ID box, you will then see the four Ark's there
the ocean flatten file might well be in the airfield locations because that' folder is at the top of the addon scenenry list
the reason for this is because that's the file that keeps the ship flat on the sea or it would be sitting on a mountain
of water.
I'm sorry your having so many issues, at the time of it's release last year it was the only way I knew how to get
it all working, I hope you enjoy her. Once you get 3wire up and running it's a blast.

Cheers for that Seaking.
It's just that I'm very skilled at making a balls of this sort of thing.................
I'll get it running..eventually.
Did you find though that if you wanted another UK or US airfield you got the entire world selection instead of just the country that you wanted?
When I put Ark into the airfield ID box I get ALL the airfields world-wide that begin with "Ark"except for "Ark Royal"itself :doho: :doho: .
If I go to "Carrier",then they're all there but appear as "Ocean Flatten(Ark Royal)",however if I select the country as Norway, then it's listed there as Ark Royal4 with an ICAO of OF58.

Miggers,
make sure that you deleted the second copy of add-on scenery that you managed to get set up originally. I would also leave the FS path as the installer displays it as it actually takes this from your registry.

Ok cheers Brian.
I'll uninstall what I have, make sure everything is clean and have another go.
