Who remembers 'Kennedy Approach' ATC Simulation on -8-bit - with 'ground breaking' speech synthesis?
Joystick controlled, the screen was a series of dots into each airfield, and the odd thundercloud would appear as you 'vectored' AC onto finals.....

Looking at that screenie Ian.. I can see that it may well be addictive in a Space Invaders sort of way. It's not so much the train side of things.. more a 'man against machine' scenario

Don't think I'll be joining in but thanks for sacrificing yourself in the name of science and public interest ;-)

Ok, I will admit i do play simsig,

laugh all you want but i do find it enjoyable and challenging at times. Until recently infact i could not see the point of fly airliners and thought it was mind numbingly boring but with the advent of flynet it really gives a reason to conduct these flights.

Has anyone ever played TRACON? I played it a lot ages ago when it ran in DOS. Then a Windows version was produced (sorry for the poor screenie). A
seriously intense simulation.

Ian,
Tell 2J12 to get a move on! He/she is holding up the next train at a red signal.
