Up to a couple of days or so ago when I last checked folks were still saying they hoped the author would re upload the AvimRUS and hopefully to SOH :dunno:

I think it is not available at present *-)

When it is I would expect it to be widely reported...perhaps the developer is hacked off

I hope not, and all this has shown what shoddy work Icarus does...didn't like it here when we wouldn't say his Rapide was great.

Having seen the obvious difference between the payware and freeware which it seems Icarus could not see, perhaps that is why their own stuff is so inaccurate.

They just don't look at things properly. :worried:

As I say, hopefully the developer was not put off, although having said that, I think if that happened to me, that would be the end.

Garry, I too hope the designer isn't put off by the antics of Icarus, and if anything the messages I've seen here and at SOH should serve as an encouragement.

Positive comments from the folks around here are not given for any old tat, the bar is set very high, so hopefully we'll see the Duck back online soon.

Just a heads up that the Duck has been uploaded to Simviation today.

Cheers Angus and Roger

I'm determined to download this and add to it's popularity even though I may end up flying it rarely (which will almost certainly be the case). One in the eye for Icarus ;)

SoH.. here I come

I think the Duck is still in the SOH 'Waiting to be approved' library folder Dave as I have not seen it appear yet.

It is up at Simviation though.

Primarily for FS9 but very usable in FSX if you make the changes outlined in the 'read me' file.

I've been flying it in FSX for a while and it's very nice.

EDIT: The Duck is now available at SOH in the 2004 aircraft section of the library.

That'll be the second one they've had today. ;) Check out post # 131 at SOH. The author of the freeware 'Duck' has a few words to say about the Icarus 'Duck'.

Does anybody know where I can locate the Swingman Grumman Duck? Looked everywhere on the net without success.
