The ATC window is of course resizable...! andit's kinda neat feature, that the history of the ATC-coomunication stays on. I use tha ATC a lot, but sometimes a tend to forget the orders and have to open the knee-pad at hopefully be able to get the chat from there...Here you have the history right in front of you. Suits me fine. And you can also turn it off, just as in fs9....

Yes I have see-through from left-rear, not certain I get then at the right side as well, because as I said, I don't know how to change view-position when the sim doesn't react on my keyb.

Hi Dan

Only left right is OK.

That's why I wondered as it seems odd one side only,

I take it you model is also slightly transparent and has no cockpit glass?

Also where there is a strong alpha it is transparent so the speedbird and letters are like windows

My Quebecair 1-11 looks like a glass ornament

Yup, same "sickness" here ;-)

That's the kind of things MS will sort out of course. It is a Beta

And I like it! ;-)

Hi Dan

I don't think that has anything to do with a beta, which is why I raise it

That is the same sort of thing that happen before with older models on later sims.

Guess you're right Garry, obviously some things has to be altered/converted, in order to work.

Still I think it seems pretty compatible..

Hi Dan

Is and it isn't because the old stuff has problems, but all I wanted to know at the moment was to be sure you had the same and it wasn't something just I was getting. Funny thing how it makes the VC 10 without cockpit glass and the One-Eleven with solid windows.

Yes I guess the developer of the aircrafts will be on it in due time.....(!)

Meanwhile it tends to be quite windy when flying...

I'll get my parka coat....

Sure didn't like the Aplhasim Lightning F2/F6. Everything was suddenly crammed into the top half of the screen.

Typical of MS they have been adding eye candy like sun reflecting off the prop disc or shiny windows while ignoring the really big issues that need fixing, like non-flat airports and a flyable helicopter.
Hi Chris
Hows that for a Classic Aircraft?
I want it and I want it now! Ok so I can't have it (the SRN4) now, but in my opinion it is a classic, whether people think it's a ship or an aircraft... Superb! Well done for making it

Kind regards

John

Well downloaded and gave it a try, umh! not what the superb photgraphs show and the fancy video's show. it was a major let down. ok on the plus side ms have moved away from the finger painting for the aircraft to junior school crayons.
the sea effect might look like that if you had just come down from an acid trip.( not that i know what an acid trip is like ). no real problem with frame rate's. unless moving from different views. lowest was 12 max was 59. all settings maxed out.
i did like the rain effect on the runway taking off with the beach baron. as for the ship effect with the flying bed sheet, well very arcade game style. i'll but up the fs9 cast off's and build up that system and leave fsx until vista it out and then try the demo again. at this time the program is not using my processors as it should. here are a few photo's for those that are not able to download the demo.
