David, what they actually do is just reactivate the old Pilot ID, not a new one. The database saves all the old ID numbers and won't reassign them. All of the data for the inactive ID is held in archives for up to a year before all non-active flight reports (i.e. ones not linked to an active VA) are deleted.MALTBY D wrote:It is possible for FSA admin to enter a bit of SQL to change the User Id on the old flight reports, but it's not the sort of thing you'd want to do often.
