Thanks very much for the tip Dave. :) I just finished two traps/cats with the Zephyr. I've yet to have a bolter with her.

I don't know if you have the latest version of Clemenceau and Foch (v3.21) but Clemenceau is setup in training cfg with a number of Zephyr's on deck (circa 1975). Foch is also '75 but setup in a combat cfg :) They're both great models and like Victorious, get better with each release ;)

I didn't know the Zephyr was a carrier plane. *-)

In the true sense of the word.. no.. it wasn't but the FN used it a hell of a lot as a trainer, including training their pilots for carrier ops. Much was done on dry land as we did here.. the outline of a carrier with landing area (wires) marked and to be aimed for but also for carrier qualification. I can't imagine for one minute it was easy due to the Zephyr's long rear fuse (noting it had a small wheel fitted in case of deck scrapes) but they used it nontheless :)

I liked the Fouga Magister - which was released by the same team before the Zephyr and they are very similar.

They have a very good manual, which is well worth a browse.

PS - having just had a quick look, it says that the Zephyr is the naval version of the Magister - so there ya go ;)
