It seems to work for me too the more I think about it
Note also that you guys now have your very own VA area. I've not posted any rules yet but on behalf of the rest of the team.. we wish you all the very best with the project. RAF_Quantum (John) and DispatchDragon (Leif) will be your mods here. You never know.. some of us may join too

Not sure on that one. A lot of my flights (and poss other peoples) will be internal sectors in the UK with the 748 and I don't feel the name suits that nature of flying.
Just my opinion
Well the reasons I suggested it are:
1) Its just rearranging the letters of BOAC (IMO the most classic of classic british airlines) so modifiying existing BOAC texture files will be very simple.
2) I just like the looks of the BOAC livery over that any other british airline.
Now I can see how having 'Overseas' could be an issue, but BCAC did not have the right ring to me.
I think Daves "Classic British Flight Services" is a good idea also.

Hi folks
I guess I will be helping John running this particular forum but NOT the
VA unless he asks - I am prepared to provide the Realworld airline experience available to me to assist in choosing things like viable economic routes, and pairings of equipment to routes - you'll find a prefer to fly cargo so Im likely to be driving the whistling t*t most of the time. First thing Im
off to do is go get the Flynet softwarer and have a shuftie at it...as far
as paintschemes etc go - May I suggest the BUA scheme - NOT BOAC
its easy enough to adapt to the CBFS name idea - AND with a little
persuaision Im sure the our master painters will be able to come up with
some "fictional" paints without opening the floodgates.
I really hope this comes to something as it is yet another adjunct to the
the forum and can only attract more members
Cheers
Leif

Absolutely!
Although this whole concept is alien to me, it nontheless opens up a whole new corridor of virtual flying. I have tried VATSIM before and also on-line flying via MSN. Enjoyed that so count me in chaps!

Sounds good Leify.I'm up for cargo lugging with the HJG Conway-707,if some kind soul can do me a BUA/CBFS paintjobbie,ta.
Guys,I'm up to help out as much as I can as I get on here most evenings
to keep up with events although my best times to fly are on a Friday afternoon for a few hours while Mrs Miggie goes to work.
Don't forget you painters, there's only one place to host your files,Rob's(happyotter)CBF website.Let's also get a link on there for this, our latest CBFS adventure :yipeee: .
Let's get set up,let's get flying and lets have some fun

This is fantastic! Really looking forward to it. I feel that the name must contain some form of Classic signature. Whatever it's called though it will be fun.

just a short question, have you any plans to have route's in canada. feeders to major hub for pond crossing. not being based in england has it's disadvantages. ie time difference to join in live flying. the thought of flying to old and slow sounds great.
