Thanks Garry. I tried to contact Lars directly for permission, but the Airliners.net link wasn't working.
Cheers!

A VC for the VC would just finish Mr Maltbys range of aircraft off nicely for me.

Think we'll need to wait for someone else to pick up the mantle there mate. I know David has had a hell of a year, and he still manages to do a lot of fancy stuff with stats etc for the VA.
Ben.

Re the Trident, I know DM has done the TRident 2 so what visibly is the difference??? is it just flight dynamics or something obvious?

The main different physical diffenece is the wing shape and the fact it has leading edge drooper flaps instead of leading edge slats.
The rest is things like doors that open differently and window pattens as well as FDE etc.
I think the tailplane bullet is a diffferent shape as well
A 1E is more like a 2 than a 1C

That's because it fell off the flight deck and went for a float test.Tomm wrote:I'm still missing a Supermarine Attacker! :prayer:
Oh! Sorry! That was one of 809's Bucc's.
Now an Attacker would be hairy onto the deck of Ark Royal, a tail dragger with a gas turbine - sheeesh!
Only a Javelin could have been worse. ;-)
As with Britannias, has anybody considered a Brabazon? I recall watching the only prototype flying over head when knee high to a grasshopper and that would be sure to impress. All those throttles and pitch levers - wow!

Re: What else is still missing from your FS2004?
We have been promised a good Britannia and a good Heron so I guess we just have to be patient on that front and put up with what we have for now. I just pray their designers don't abandon FS2004 as I have no plans to . . .
With some recent arrivals from Jens B K and that lovely little Aerovan I don't think I have anything else I feel desperate for.
If anything, I long for more British liveries on DC-4s and 6s, but I know they are not British aircraft and therefore not covered by this forum.
But I'm not complaining - we are thoroughly spoilt.
