I remember having this problem before and Gary (uk2000 Gary) replied to a post I made on his forum... there were some statics that you couldn't get rid of though, as they weren't in separate files, and I think Marham was one of them. Is it the one with 2 x hemp VC10's on the pan?

er,just a suggestion,prolly won't work but worth exploring,
why not create an alpha channel mask to make the 10 invisible via its texture file

Seriously Neil you have to edit the bgl-file as the VC10 is built into the scenery, otherwise I would have its own apparent file eg. static_vc10.bgl or something....

That said you have to get you hands on a converter like:
bglanalyze or bglx180

(I prefer the first, both both have their own strength and weaknesses)

Disassemble the bgl into xml
finding the right section (use notepad) and delete it (back up the original bgl first)

compile it into bgl again

You have to have a version of bglcomp from the SDK (different one for either FS9 or FSX)

That's the proper way to do it. and when doing so you are of course tampering with other peoples work, but as long as you keep it for your self I'm sure no-one will notice....oops! :-#
