Ok so I've gone mad, but does anyone know a good source of information espacially dimensions and images of the Boeing 2707?

I remember that Flying review feature.
Had colour pics of the full scale mock up and ther were drawings of the wing positions and nose drooping.
Maybe someone has it

Ps. If things had gone to plan, round about now this amazing aircraft would have been retired. Instead, the final remains of the engineering mock-up reside in the Hiller Museum and have done for at least the last 5 years.

It actually survived 'whole' for a few years in something called the SST museum and then...

There's a Revell kit of it around. They originally released it when the real thing was current but had a recent re-release about a year ago as I recall. You got two models in the box, one with wings out and nose drooped, and the other all folded upin flight on a stand. Approx 1/144 scale, which still makes it big!
And it was moulded in yellow! Yeuk.........
They were darned expensive originally and didn't sell worth a light, not to Jimmy Schoolboy anyway. I built one for our local model shop's window and he sold out in 2 days!

Yes I have the original and the rerelease, so I 'll use those for plans, but if any one has any idea of a source of images that'd be great.

I'm tempted to say 'eBay' but it's a bit of a minefield. There are dealers around who buy in kits of course, but they want their cut as well. Taking them to a model show works fine if you ferquent such places, like me
Old kits are very much a buyers market though, and you can sometimes be disappointed when trying to sell what you think is a rare kit, only to find someone has just released a much better resin model of the same aircraft.
Having said that, if the kits are unopened and pristine you can get the most AMAZING prices for seemingly cheap and old kits. Some guy paid me £70.00 for a Frig 1/96 scale Valiant that was a French issue, in a box marked Triang. He wouldn't even thunk about opening the box to see if it was all there as the thing was still taped up!
