Nice pic....read an article on the discovery and the subsequent raising of that aircraft in 'Aeroplane Monthly' way back in the 70's. Apparently when they connected a battery some of the bulbs still worked after all those years under water.. :shock:
Interesting article it was too.

Not sure if the story you're thinking of isn't the Loch Ness Wellington Brian or if that's a coincidence :think: Same happened with her. Fin lamp seemed to be intact so they connected pwr and on it came :shock:

What a great idea for a shot.
John, whose Halifax is that ? I have Alphasim's, but it's a B.Mk.III, which that one there clearly isn't.

eeerrr no it is the AlphaSim model

Wonderful shot John, but the 'mods' should have included a Boulton-Paul turret, the bulgy round one, I think.
