Sorry, but the zoom of the camera makes it look much worse than it was. There was a discussion over this video on another forum I frequent and some people did a frame-by-frame analysis of it and determined he rotated with ~2000 meters remaining and took off with ~1000 meters remaining. Since the people on the ground weren't knocked over, the aircraft was at nearly 500 feet when it passed over them. So it was no where near as close as some would like to make it seem.

Noticed this one in the side bar after having watched the 747. I think this could be classed as an insane landing. (Although it seems to mirror my average FS landing!!! :roll:

. . . that said even I'd have given up and gone around after the third bounce!)

I can't be 100% certain but looking at it I got the impression the nose wheel did actually collapse.

I think I read on Pprune that this example was 2 students on the same flight training course. I suspect their involvement came to a swift end shortly after. What is the Russian for Go-around ?
