I ran a test that ended just now. I left my aircraft sat on the runway and made a note of the average FPS. 32fps.
I went and had a bath and returned 25 minutes later. I just wrote a note of the average FPS. 11fps.
Thinking the problem could be due to heat i ran the test again running speedfan recording a nice graph of my CPU and HD temps and Xpertvision fan moniter. Everything remained at a steady temperature not really changing.
It's been a problem really plaguing me of late and of course i very annoying when you're flying a glideslope at 9fps...
Any ideas? I have been searching for a topic regarding this issue i've read before but i can't find it.
Gradually slower and slower...

Hi Hinch
Appologies if I'm stating the obvious, but have you defragged and run a registry cleaner lately?
Also, how many programs do you have running in the background?
I use CCleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com/
a freeware registry cleaner and 'Enditall', also freeware (at least originall - now more difficult to find) which kills selected background programs.
Hope this is of help - if you need any info on enditall, feel free to PM me.
Regards
Kevin
