hi Tony ! No, they're not hand built ;) I simply dont have the time !!!
These are all diecast, with a few exceptions, like the KLM and LH B744 and A300, by Herpa.
I buy these in a small shop in Hillingdon, once a month I fly to the UK and spend my money there... :wall: ;)
thanks, and glad you liked them !

Hi Rui :hello:

I think the last any of us heard was that Derek was about to zip the lot up (the srs1 that is) by way of a pre-release package. If everything comes out that's supposed to.. it'll be good to go. Don't worry.. Derek wants this out and in the public domain as much as you all want to get your hands on it ;)

Hi folks,

Thanks for that Dave ;)

Yes, the plan is to release the Heron 1 'as is' as soon as possible...however, due to recent 'RL' commitments, I haven't had chance to look at it for a good while :hide:

I must also admit to severe lack of motivation during the winter months...all I want to do is huddle under my duvet and await the arrival of Spring

It hasn't been forgotten but I ATM I can't give a date ;)

ATB,

Derek :)

Hi Del. Just checked with the met office and spring is expected in Bridgwater on June 7th 2011 ;)

I spent a happy 15 minutes at the station the other day when the driver complained of 'an intermittent horn due to freezing conditions' :dunno:

Wait till he reaches my age!

Ian

Any news on the Heron please!? Visited the Mosquito Museum last Saturday, 19th, and had a great time, took lots of pictures too !
Those Herons and Doves still look good, beautiful lines, so thats why I'm a bit curious about the FS model...:)
Thanks again,
