The Trident could land in less than that....forty years ago.

On one of the tests after landing they couldn't see enough to taxy.

Thats a great clip John! Even with all the technology and training, I wonder how much those pilots draw on simple faith in the tense moments before the lights appear? It would scare the willies out of me, for sure. :smile:

They go into it gradually during their training so I guess by the time they get there it's an extension of what they are already used to.
