The Trident could land in less than that....forty years ago.

On one of the tests after landing they couldn't see enough to taxy.

Thats a great clip John! Even with all the technology and training, I wonder how much those pilots draw on simple faith in the tense moments before the lights appear? It would scare the willies out of me, for sure.

They go into it gradually during their training so I guess by the time they get there it's an extension of what they are already used to.
