A nice analogy Eddie and one that I happen to agree with. Doesn't matter if it's accurate.. some things just don't look right

You have no soul gentlemen. I for one appreciate a little proof that the Americans know who is best!!

Looks nice, as you would expect from Ed. But do we really need another Merlin Spitfire when there are still some marks that are just not being covered? Sorry if you read this Ed (and I'll undoubtedly buy it anyway  ) but I'm still waiting for the Mk XII or Mk 21. :dunno:

It's the only way the US could get to see their markings on a decent aircraft  :-#

I never thought about it like that Andy  Personally.. I'd still be up for a Mk.V and Mk.IX Spit to the same quality as the PD'16'/RealAir Spits  Recently bought that SkyUnlimited Hurricane and was rather impressed. Spinner doesn't look quite right on the Mk.1 (could be me) but is fine on the others. Works a treat in FSX too if you don't have the lights on. You CAN use the lights but these are accompanied by machine gun fire

  Could be worse...it could be a clipped-wing variant. Yep, anything other than British markings just don't belong on a Spitfire.

I'm with you on the Mk XII, the first Griffon engined variant and a bruiser of an aeroplane, if I could call a Spitfire of any Mark 'a bruiser'.

On the other hand, a PRXI in PRU Blue with USAAC markings is rather easy on the eye. The blue on blue seem to go well together.

Now there's a missing Mark, I don'gt think anyone's done a PRXI in FS9 ever. I must talk to my buddy Melo to get PL965 updated......

Kit
