Hi all,
took a mate up for a flight in the Tristar 500 today to give him an introduction into the world of FS. Needless to say he loved it and handled the mighty Tristar rather well for a beginner.
Here's a few of the training flight which consisted of circuits around Brize Norton AB including a couple of low-level passes then a full stop landing.
Shame the weather was'nt a little brighter.
Taxing to the active
Only 30% fuel so she lifts up nice and early..
A little lower the second time..!
thanks for looking :tab:

Nice shots Eddie and something you're likely to see on any day of the week.. except of course the low pass down the runway with your gear up!!

Yes indeed. I think the technical term is a TTF Arrival and is usually done out of view of senior officers

Vegas,
Which Tri-Star model is that please?
The S duct is miles better shaped than most others I've seen. And the aircon intakes look very good too.
Regards

Hi Kit,
the model is the payware aerosim model and the textures are from AVSIM where you will find stacks of RAF paints.

That's the one
I think the FD leaves a little to be desired but it's certainly pretty to look at
You can also pick up a photoreal panel for it!

Your right there mate the FD are pretty dire but it does look the mutts. Shame really because it could have been a top notch package had they got that right.
Oh and it does'nt work in FSX.

That looks very nice indeed. I suppose one could try using the flight dynamics from Cantu's 1011 with it?

Still waiting for that L1011 from Pilots, but I doubt it will ever happen!
