yes i have made many flights within flynet and the va with the comet. if you are flying within flynet you will not make any money. always in the red. thats due to the new changes made within flynet.
now that's out the way. read the instructions very carefully within the notebook. at first she might look rather confusing but there are not many buttons to press but if done wrong she will come down like a brick. auto pilot is easy to use. the landings are easy if you follow the guide. keep the power on and use the flaps to slow you down. keep above 140, any less she will suddenly drop with no recovery. practice and practice landings before going onto flynet. that's if your flying on the va/flynet. the other bits are easy, just keep your hand on the speed during take off, she like to creep up on you.
looks great sounds wonderful and she can go like stink at 36,000ft. if you need anymore advice from a dummy just send me a note
ps to help runway line up on decent i move the spar two clicks to the left.

Good news on the Comet.
It's pretty much finished & I've done a few test flights with the CBFS VA. Should be ready for some proper beta testing soon.
As for flying it, check out the tips here.

You should be able to fly the updated model in the same way as the old one. The biggest difference is when you get the flaps up after takeoff, the new one doesn't race up to 300kt like the old one.
Some updated pics...
Note the ripped off Fraser McKay style checklist.
10 pages of ticks & crosses to help you out.
Stole Fraser's idea for engine selection as well.

The new model really needed it.
Engineer's panel has more working than originally expected.
The fuel system is still a basic left, centre, right arrangement, but the crossfeeds work now (3 levers bottom right) & so you can be a bit more 'proper'.
Lots of fun to be had with de-icing & pressurization down the bottom.
A/P now in place.
All levers & knobs working right.
2D panels have grown too.

Thank you, Your Lordship
for producing such a thing of beauty for us masses (Tugging forelock)
as someone else said you can smell the leather, Stale cigarette smoke (usually
Rothmans) and that peculiar smell the coffee makers in the front galley
always made

. All you need is some tall Dan Air Trolley dolly with a
Mancunian accent standing in the flight deck door -- Ah never to be forgetten
memories - Thanks David - yet again you have taken Simming to a whole
other level
:prayer:
