The rules on picture linking have nothing to do with the admin of this forum being killjoys or anything like that

We have a legal and moral obligation to protect copyright and when certain sites do not allow their content to be shown in any other form apart from direct linking then that is all we will allow.

Obviously internal rules can be bent a litlle to suit conditions but not this. It has to be enforced.

There is a picture linking post by Tonks which makes the rules prefectly clear.

If someone asks for their account to be deleted... legally thats what we must do, so account gone. We have never knowingly breached the rules on copyright, nor will we. As I own the site (on paper anyway) I'm certainly not going to leave myself open to litigation. Its a shame he feels the way he did and couldn't just take it on the chin.

Righty, I've better things to do with my Sunday. :cpu:

Let your PC stay with the background open.

Press the Print Screen button.

Open MS-Paint

Select "Paste" save as jpg. format in the right size

Post it as usual..

No big deal actually ;-)

Got a picture of my dad in front of one of the aircraft at work. He looks very proud :)
